BEGINNER Yoga
A great starting point if you haven’t done any yoga before, are re-starting your practice, healing an injury, or perhaps just testing the waters. During the hour-long class expect gentle introduction to some of the basic, non-threatening yoga postures, with modifications shown to make them either easier and more accessible for you. Emphasis is on correct technique and learning about the postures as you go.
Tuesdays 10:30am
Saturdays 10am
(suitable also Monday 7:30pm)

OPEN Yoga
“Yoga” comes from a Sanskrit word meaning to yoke, or to join. The mind and body joins to rejuvenate, strengthen and stretch the body, relax the mind and revitalize the spirit.
This (dynamic) “Hatha” class is based on the Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vinyasa styles – infusing traditional yoga with safety guidelines. All shapes, sizes and levels are welcome to join this class, as poses can be modified to suit individual needs - making the poses either more accessible, or perhaps more challenging where required. If you are a beginner, let the instructor know so they can guide you into appropriate modifications.
Mondays 9:30am
Mondays 7:30pm (also fine for BEGINNERS)
Tuesdays 6:30pm
Wednesdays 9:30am
Thursdays 9:30am
Saturdays 9am
Sundays 9am

RESTORATIVE Yoga
This class is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all students from beginner to experienced. It is a gentle alternative, exploring and luxuriating in extended restorative-style poses, relaxation techniques and gentle stretching. A great way to balance out your yoga practice, soothe your body, nurture your soul, quieten your mind and literally RESTORE. It’s the class that if everyone had the time, they would do it every week. Also known as TGIF (thank God it’s Friday) Yoga.
Fridays 9:30am

NOT SURE ?
If you're wondering whether to 'take it up a notch' and move onto a stronger class, ask yourself: "Do I no longer feel challenged in class?" "Do I know most of the poses we regular practice in class, by name - and how they should correctly be executed?" "Do I really need to go up, or am I really enjoying my practice just as it is?" "Is my ego making this decision for me, or is my body actually craving the next level?" "Am I still carrying that chronic injury (and should I continue to nurture it in a lower level class)?"

PLEASE ask if you're not sure which class is appropriate for your current practice, and if we think you've made an inappropriate choice, we'll discuss it with you.

TEENS YOGA (11-ish through to HSC level)
Yoga will not just stretch, strengthen and tone your body; it also complements the sport you play by increasing focus and preventing injury. The class will give teenagers (well, 11—ish through to HSC level…) the tools to develop focus, manage anxiety and build confidence with a combination of breathing and gentle meditation techniques. Aside from the physical benefits, yoga teaches teens techniques for coping with the unique issues they're faced with everyday—friendships and relationships, insecurity about their changing bodies, the enormous pressure to fit in, school and exams, stressful schedules, and uncertainty about their beliefs and their futures. Yoga - while giving you a sense of self, will develop your confidence to trust in your own abilities and handle the ups and downs of adolescence.
